I'm currently setting up a contact lenses store. This kind of product has some extra complexity at product selection time. The scenario is as follows:
There are two types of contact lenses: toric and spherical. The type of contact lenses depends on 4 parameters: PWR, AXS, CYL and BC each being a number within a range. Depending on the type the price changes, one price for the spherical and another for the toric (it's jus two different prices for the same product).
The complexity is that each of the parameters have 10+ possible values, this makes the product variations very complex since you must decide based on the right combination of these values if the contac lenses are spherical or toric and change the price accordingly.
How can accomplish this without having to make an extra option or attribute for each combination of the parameters?
