Line-breaks in textarea

Hello,
At the last page of the order, it removes all line-breaks we need in the textarea field.
Why do you remove them? It makes it for us unusable because the client has fixed portions for which we can only use textarea. We require this breaks, at least we should be able to use a class and <br> tags.
We must show this information correctly on delivery, packaging slips and in invoices. How can we make it work?
