Out of stock products in product elements warning

Currently, if I integrate a product "x" in a product "y" with a product element, if the product "x" is out of stock, it is still possible to add the product "y" in the cart, without any alert.

It would be very useful if:
- there was a warning message in the cart, telling it's impossible to add product "x",
- or if adding the product "y" to cart was impossible while out of stock product elements are selected.

Currently, inattentive customers sometimes buy out of stock products via product elements and I don't know how to manage that.
