Use the "From" string not working in single product page

    Hello,

    as described in the title I'm having the following issue:
    I selected the Use the "From" string on displayed product prices option in the global settings, and it works fine in all the pages of the site despite the single product page. In these pages the string "From " minimum price is showing up for 1-2 seconds, and then it seems like it's "overwritten". Maybe there are some kind of options I'm missing.
    I also created a custom function in my theme to show the From string, and the same happends. So I deactivated the extra fields plugin and with my customization the string is showing correctly in the single product page, so I deduce that there are some kind of wrong options in the plugin that I can't figure it out.
