I have one product which is available in 3 variations, two of which require a product option, and the remaining one should not show the option.
All 3 variations have their own SKU's, and I can make the option show up by using either of the two SKU's which need the option. The default variation is one which requires the option.
I have added the one that should not have the option to the Excluded Products list.
The option shows up on the appropriate variations, but it does not go away when the excluded variation is selected.
I have tried defaulting the product to the excluded variation, I have tried giving the overall product the SKU of the excluded variation, and I have tried using the category selector with the exclusion, and in every case the option shows up.
Do I have to set up an entirely separate product to handle the variation without the option?
